Meet the ASP Team

Tim started his working career as a High School teacher and coach at Baylor School; after graduating from the University of Tennessee in 1977. He has years of project experience in a number of different areas; as he has built homes, hunting clubs, and commercial renovations through the years, and was President of a large machinery distributor, with nearly fifty employees.

Through his involvement on School Boards he has had firsthand experience working with architects and contractors (on behalf of the school), on numerous athletic projects. He has also headed Capital fundraising campaigns for Schools, and Industry Associations, and has been extremely successful on a number of campaigns.

As the Founder of Athletic SurfacesPlus, he assures that each client and project is taken care of in a professional way. He believes that ASP is only as good as our last project, and has built this business on trust and by exceeding client's expectations. Since 2007, Tim has been involved with over 100 projects involving synthetic turf fields, tracks, and athletic complexes; utilizing his skills of design consulting, specification writing, turf evaluation, fundraising, owner's representation, and project management.

He is considered to be an expert in the field of sports facilities, and particularly synthetic turf fields. His involvement with the Synthetic Turf Council and The American Sports Building Association has proven his ability to provide expert knowledge in the synthetic turf industry. He is the premier consultant and expert in the Mid-South/Mid-West region.

Carl began working with ASP in 2022. Prior to joining our team, Carl spent 12 years as a high school football coach in Mississippi and Tennessee. Upon graduating from the University of Mississippi, he began his professional career at North Panola High School in Sardis, MS. Over the next four years North Panola won 24 games and made the playoffs each year, a marketable improvement from back to back 1-9 seasons before his arrival. In the spring of 2016, Carl took over as the Head Football Coach and quickly took North Panola to the top of Class 3A, winning 46 Football games and back to back district titles in his four years. 23 of his players signed college scholarships during that time. In addition to his success on the field, Carl raised over 2 million dollars during his tenure to upgrade nearly every aspect of the facilities at North Panola. In 2025, this effort culminated in the construction of a new Turf Field.

In 2019, Carl was introduced as the Head Football Coach at Milan High School in Milan, TN. In his first year, the Bulldogs won 13 straight games before falling in the State Championship game to Alcoa. While at Milan, Carl spearheaded the Turf fundraising campaign designed by ASP, successfully raising over 1 million dollars.

As Partner at Athletic Surfaces Plus, Carl strives to make an positive impact on every person he meets. This passion for people is evident in the way Carl treats his clients.

A Missouri High School Activities Association legend, Mark Fisher has an extensive knowledge in high school athletic facilities. Mark joined ASP in 2020 following an illustrious career as a high school coach, athletic director, and Hall of Fame inductee. Mark, along with Don, cover Missouri and North Arkansas.

Don, like Mark, is one of the most well known and respected former coaches and athletic directors in Missouri. Mark joined ASP in 2021 following his retirement from MICDS in St. Louis.

Luke has been taking care of our clients fields for the last four summers. A 2025 Graduate of Ole Miss, Luke's full time calling is to the Mission Field where he serves as a campus minister with Campus Outreach at Ole Miss. During the summer months, Luke transitions to maintaining over 75 of our clients fields in preparation for the upcoming school year.
